Our Mission

Our Hope For Hearts misson.

Our Mission

Improve the awareness of aortic stenosis throughout the medical community and build better referral networks to make it easier to find those specialists that can help manage and treat patients.

Background

Over recent decades there has been a rapid growth in medical innovation giving rise to subspecialty treatment options across many fields of medicine. While the growth of medical innovation has the potential to improve patient outcomes and the efficient use of healthcare resources, it also added complexity to the referral pathway. Referrers need to be up to date with the growing list of clinical guidelines, advanced treatment options and the sub-specialists most suited to help manage their patients’ specific needs.

The Hope for Hearts website and clinical content library has been developed to make it easier to access structural heart content to stay up to date, as well as find local specialists and hospital centres to help streamline the referral process.

Our Company

We understand that being a doctor is very busy work. Our mission is to make at least two parts of the job a little easier.

Connect the Docs, aims to improve the quality and accessibility of medical education, and help grow physician networks to improve the sharing of information throughout the medical community. We want to help you find each other; for communication, for information or for referrals.

In collaboration with many of New Zealand’s leading specialists and hospitals, Connect the Docs develops condition based medical education. We call it our Priority Medicine series, what you need to know, when and where you need to know it.

Register to access our clinical content series, podcasts, and interviews and download our ‘made for doctor’s series’ cover topics on practice management, marketing, and the law.
