4th Structural Heart Disease Asia Pacific Symposium

*CANCELLED* Due to the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), travel restrictions are in place in a number of countries, which has directly impacted the SHD-AP Symposium. It’s in the best interest of industry partners, attendees and colleagues to postpone the Symposium.

The 4th Structural Heart Disease (SHD) Asia Pacific Symposium is on for another fantastic year in 2020!

The three-day event will take place from Thursday 2nd to Saturday 4th of April at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand and aims to bring the heart team closer on a unified platform.

The events’ course directors include Coronary and Structural Disease Intervention specialists, Dr Sanjeevan Pasupati and Dr Rajesh Nair. As well as, Dr Pranesh Jogia who specialises in Intensive Care and Cardiac Imaging.

The program is an opportunity to share knowledge in the evolving field of structural heart disease with an invite to all specialities involved in the multidisciplinary heart team to attend.

It includes:

  • Comprehensive workshop on wet discussion correlated to advanced cardiac imaging,
  • Live case transmissions and case in a box presentations of contemporary structural heart disease procedures,
  • Live interventional simulator workshop for cardiac surgeons and trainees, and
  • SHD expert presentations and panel discussions.

The SHD Symposium is the only meeting that brings together specialists from across the modern heart team, in one place, at one time.
